Live web casting

Showing an event / conference / seminar / press meet in video and audio LIVE across the internet on the website of your choice accessed by people across the globe. The event will be seen in REAL time as it is happening. Can incorporate interactivity. Most often used during Analyst meets, Award nights, Conferences and other events that need global coverage.

Brief on the 4 types mentioned above

1. Only LIVE Audio webcasting : A Live audio feed is received from a mike or PA system at the venue into E-icon Networks encoder machine that allows compression and LIVE streaming. The feed is then uploaded to e-icon networks streaming network using a 128 kbps ISDN line at the venue.

2. Only LIVE Video webcasting : A Live video feed is received from the production crew. This crew can be provided by E-icon Networks if required. The LIVE video feed is received by E-icon Networks encoder machine that allows compression and streaming. The feed is then uploaded using a 128 kbps ISDN to E-icon Networks streaming server.

3. LIVE audio webcasting with Power Point presentation tagged LIVE : The power point slides need to be given to us 24 hours prior to the scheduled webcast time. This will enable viewers to view ppt files during the LIVE webcast as the presenter toggles thru them.

How Live web casting is done.

On demand web casting

A recorded / edited version of the event can be seen on the website of your choice within 48 hours of event completion for as long as you desire. Most often used when presentations, Events, Analysts meets etc need to be accessed by wider audiences across the globe.

1. Only On-demand Audio Web casting : The audio clip is given to us in mpeg/wav formats which is uploaded on to the streaming server

2. Only On-demand Video web casting : The video clip is given to us as mpegs or Raw formats on DV / VHS / Beta tapes. The content is converted to the specified file sizes and uploaded to E-icon Networks streaming server.

3. On-demand audio web casting with Power Point presentation tagged : With the audio file the power point presentations is received. On listening to the audio the ppts are inserted allowing the viewer to hear the audio and view the presentations along side simultaneously.

4. On-demand video web casting with Power Point presentation tagged : With the video file the power point presentations is received. On viewing the audio the ppts are inserted allowing the viewer to hear the audio and view the presentations along side simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS AT A VENUE TO WEBCAST LIVE AUDIO / VIDEO

      1) Dedicated 128kbps ISDN line at the venue.
      2) A monitor
      3) 3 Plug points
      4) A table with 2 chairs
      5) A UPS for a single computer
      6) Speakers Power Point presentations ideally 24 hours prior to the EVENT
          (if ppt to be webcasted LIVE with audio/video)

SERVICES / EQUIPMENT E-ICON NETWORKS WILL PROVIDE DURING A LIVE WEBCAST.

a. Production : E-icon Networks can organize video recording on Single or Multiple Digital Video Cameras on location.

b. Audio input : Will be received from the PA system at the venue or independent collar mike which ever is superior in recording quality.

c. Encoding : Patching the LIVE feed into E-icon Networks encoder and compressing the same.

d. Uploading : The feed will then be uploaded to the data center to E-icon Networks streaming server using the 128ISDN line at the venue

e. Streaming : E-icon Networks Streaming servers will received the stream and send it out to the internet. Depending on the pack chosen by the client the required bandwidth will be dedicated for the event. If bandwidth needs to be increased by 10% the same can be done remotely on the spot.

f. Hosting : All on-demand clips will be hosted on e-icon networks streaming server for the stipulated period and links to the same will be given to the client.

g. Converting of PPT : To enable viewing of ppt files along side the webcast the same needs to be converted to images and tagged to ensure it is in sync with video / audio.

h. E-icon Networks will design the layout with graphics and embed the video in the same as per the client's request.
